James Tyrone Wilson, also known as "Tyrone," by friends began his formal music training on the alto saxophone at twelve years old. As his musicianship advanced, so did his passion for playing a variety of instruments. He gravitated to bass guitar and at the age of sixteen began his lifelong journey on acoustic piano, grand piano, and keyboards.

Mr. Jae Tyson is no stranger to the music industry. As a matter of fact, his first hit "Straight 2 Da Mote," hit 25 Bubbling Under on the Billboard charts in 1998.  He signed with Universal Records as a composer/ musician/songwriter/lead vocalist with a now-defunct all-male group for a short term. 

After surviving a near-fatal head-on collision by an unfortunate driver, “Ty” battled grand mal seizures due to a TBI (traumatic brain injury), Type II Diabetes and physical limitation for two decades. Nevertheless his spiritual discipline and passion for serving as a Minister of Music at multiple Central Florida faith-based churches never waivered.  He was also instrumental in production projects in multiple studio recording sessions, and jingle creations. 

After battling homelessness and medical hardships, Mr. Jae Tyson never gave up on his dream of blessing the world with originally inspired and soulful Rhythm-N-Gospel arrangements. After rebranding his stage name several times, we are blessed to present “Mr. Jae Tyson's" 1st solo debut  project: That  NOW (New Oily Worship).
